It's Official! (Unofficially)

So I found out where I'll be teaching and living next year! Drum roll, please.....


Langfang Teachers College!!! Hooray!




Langfang is a city in Hebei province (northeast China), and it's pretty close to Beijing.





Some initial thoughts on Langfang:

• I'm so excited to finally know where I'll be! Though it still doesn't feel real, probably because I've been waiting for so long.
• I get to join an amazing team- Brad & Jess Distad and Peter & Shannon Lucas-Roberts (soon to be!). They've been there for a year already and have done some great stuff. Plus they'll be able to show me the ropes!
• I've been to 4 different towns and seen 4 different schools in China- Langfang is NOT one of them. This makes me laugh, because I know that it's not by accident and that He's known this all along.
• There is a Wal-Mart there.

Still don't know exactly when I'm leaving, but I'm sure that will come soon!

What am I doing here?

I'm not a blogger. I never planned on being one. I don't know what to say, what to write that people (you) would want to read. Even now, I'm thinking too much and deleting half of what I'm writing. But this much I know: I'm moving to China in a couple months, and I never thought I'd do that either. So here I am, blogging away. Still in America, but the adventure has officially begun.
